Welcome

At Castilleja, girls win.

Girls’ teams aren’t just part of what we do—they are everything we do. Our coaches understand what our student-athletes need to build mental strength and perform at their highest level by teaching leadership, self-confidence, well-being, collaboration, and resilience. With 12 Upper School and nine Middle School sports and three-quarters of students participating, our athletic program is an essential part of daily life around the Circle. Our teams are coached by former Division-I players and professional athletes, and our campus boasts state-of-the art training facilities, and many of our athletes go on to compete at the collegiate level.

Mentorship begins in Middle School, with Upper School students assisting the coaches. Our younger student-athletes see the future ahead of them as competitors and leaders. The entire community comes out strong to support our student-athletes, whether they are just starting a new sport in 6th grade or getting recruited for play beyond Castilleja. There is a place for every athlete to thrive within our comprehensive and competitive program, and we know sports foster the teamwork, skills, and self-confidence that a young woman needs for a lifetime of effective leadership.

Castilleja Athletics provides the community with a source of pride, unity, and school spirit.
